Tesco have set up a new website for their clubcard users where you can log in with your clubcard details, and look at all the details of all the vouchers you’ve been sent over the last couple of years. It shows you how many you’ve been sent, and of those how many you’ve used and how many are still to be used.

To check all this out, you need to go to their website here: https://secure.tesco.com/Clubcard/

Sign in with your clubcard details (You may need to phone customer services at this point as if you only have initials and not your first name on file you’ll need to get that added first – but it’s a free phone number and is given on the page you’ll be looking at!).

Once you’ve logged in, go to ‘Your Vouchers’ on the left hand side. Scroll down and you’ll see any outstanding (i.e. unused) vouchers you have.

If there are any there which you don’t actually have at home, then you can ring customer services and ask them to re-credit those back to your account. What they do is basically put the points back on your card so you’ll get new vouchers sent out to you in your next statement. (This ought to be in February now, but if they do as they did last year, you might get them in December instead).

In my case I had vouchers showing as unspent for August 2009, November 2009, and November 2010. Well my Nov 2010 ones just arrived a couple of days ago, so I knew about those, but the two older vouchers (worth £5 each) I’ve been able to have credited back to my account, so next time I receive clubcard vouchers, I’ll get an extra £10 worth.

Tesco are also changing a few of their rules too. From December the 6th 2010 you’ll no longer get 4x the value of your vouchers when you exchange them for deals vouchers, instead, it will be 3x the value. So, if you’re looking at exchanging for deals, it’s worth considering doing it BEFORE December 6th to get the best value you can.

Also, points on petrol and diesel have now changed. Instead of getting 2 points for every £1 spent as you do in store, you’ll now only receive 1 point for every £2 spent. The double points (2 for every £1 spent) IS continuing in store however.
